Thank you for visiting Schmidt's Big Bass Guide Service! Richland Chambers Reservoir is the home of some of the best bass fishing that Texas has to offer. If you want to experience the time of your life catching largemouth bass, take a look at what I have to offer. We have full-day and half-day trips 7 days a week, year around. Full-day trips are $350* and include fishing from safe light until 4 pm. I also furnish cold drinks, sandwiches and chips on a full day trip. For a half-day trip at $225* it includes cold drinks and fishing from safe light until 11:30 am. *note due to gas prices I had to go up on rates.

A $50 deposit is required to hold dates. Deposits are non-refundable within 7 days of trip. Deposits may be refunded or transferred to an open date with 10 or more days notice.

I will provide all tackle, drinks, (lunch full day trips only ) and all other equipment needed. You must provide your own Texas fishing license.

When you contact me for a trip I will be happy to let you know what you should bring. If you would like to book a two-day trip, you may contact Jerry Jordan at Oak Cove Marina and make motel reservations. Jerry can be reached by clicking on Oak Cove.

During the winter months, I also guide on Lake Fairfield . This power plant lake have a reputation for producing large quantities of largemouth bass and other species during the months of November through February.
